WIRE announce live dates

After a considerable absence from the live scene (the last show was at Benecassim, Spain in 2004), Wire is set to announce dates for new live shows this year. As yet unconfirmed dates will include European festivals during the summer season and a trip to North America in the autumn.

At this time, we are able to confirm the following early show dates:

After what has been an absolute age in the doldrums we are finally launching the brand-new expanded super version of pinkflag.com. The new version features brand new sections, including a gallery and a place to download MP3s from various pinkflag releases, past present and future. The site also carries a discography (each release has complete lyrics alongside), and a skeletal gigography (a section we'd like to expand).

WIRE: The Scottish Play: 2004

There's been some confusion about the availabilty of the new WIRE DVD, WIRE: The Scottish Play: 2004 , since the fault reported with the original stock delivery back in late January: the audio CD which acompanies the DVD contained no audio!

We'd like to confirm that the fault has now been rectified... The CDs have been replaced with working copies containing the audio it was meant to.
