Hot on the heels of their 7" release, Reduce, Like A Stuntman follow up with their debut album Fresh Air Is Not The Worst Thing In Town. The Frankfurt four-piece are Highpoint Lowlife’s first full band signing. Building upon the label’s predominately electronic background, Like A Stuntman take as building blocks the detuned experimental noise-pop of bands like Boyracer or Deerhoof, adhere it to Pavement-esque infectious melodies and a lazy drawl, and propel it forward on a danceable wave of Casio keyboards, and lo-fi drum-machines.

Together since 2001, Like a Stuntman utilize electric and acoustic guitar, drums, bass, microphones, synthesizers, a drum computer and a harmonica. They have previously self-released two EPs, contributed a track to the Perverted by Marc E. tribute album to The Fall, (featured alongside the likes of Preston School Of Industry and Tocotronic) as well as the recent limited Reduce 7" on Highpoint Lowlife. Their hybrid indie-electronic sound has been described as "one part Capitol K's great one off masterpiece Pillow, one part a more interesting/less wimpoid Postal Service, or Her Space Holiday without the self obsessed lyrics, and one part the scattershot bedroom pop of Steward or early Enon".

A full European tour is planned for May/June 2005.

"Sounds like it's been made by breaths and soft touches rather than hard strokes and strident thought, on a microphone with loose wire buzz and compliant keyboard. Like A Stuntman, you've got it just right."
