Vienna's dB makes his first full length album debut, Peron, released on double 12" and CD format.
With this release dB continues the journey he started with his previous releases on Background Records and Cologne's Karloff/Substatic imprint. It combines a higher level of abstractism and soul, which unite as one distinctly unique language, creating raw grooves, pushed beyond their limits by the use of sampling and filtering techniques, and crisp, raw and organic elements. Blasts and cries of distorted saxophones, sliding tones intertwined with elements of soul, while deep-textured chords cross over to create an intense interaction between diverse-ranging frequencies.
This is house music of the future.
