Here we have the fourth installment in the Adaadat split series, this time in the form of a 7 inch.
On side one we find Shex, aka Shigeru Komada, serving up a musical smorgasbord of heavy metal, breakcore, rap, dodgy rave & j pop. Shex first came to our attention with his stunning debut 'bqopd' released in 2002 on 19-t Records. Since then he has gone on to establish himself as one of Osaka's most exciting underground artists, often performing live with his backing group, New Shinsekai. A follow up to 'bqopd' is expected early 2005.
On side two we have Burnley entertainer extraordinaire Ommm, aka Edmund Davie. One half of legendary performance combo Zo't, (the other half being 19-t founder Shigeru Ikeda, aka DJ 100000000.) Here we find Ommm delighting us with his lo-fi/indie harmonies and playful arrangements, providing us with a taster for the full length Ommm album which is scheduled for release on Adaadat later in 2004.
