Nyles Lannon is the guitarist and keyboard player for San Francisco based indie shoegazers Film School, whose warm, winding melodies wrap their way around legions of layered chords and sonic blasts of guitars which simmer into slow, dreamy waves. In his solo N.LN project, Nyles uses electronics and computer manipulations to create a similar aesthetic, gorgeous evocative atmospherics combine with constantly evolving crunched and gnarly beats.

"It's Lannon's ear for a good tune that's the main focus of this record. Wispy, melancholic tunes they are too, sometimes half buried beneath a haze of muted glitches and soft atmospherics, sometimes emerging to tickle your neurons and send tiny shivers up and down your limbs " BBC Album Of The Week, January 12th

"A beautifully arranged slice of tear-jerkingly melodic electronic nostalgia. While IDM punters will delight in the inevitable Boards of Canada comparisons, Lannon's forged a path of his own with a sometimes glitchier randomized sound that is refreshingly jarring." Vice Magazine
