Lambent is Akira Inagawa, a Japanese ex-patriot now resident in Berlin, who has been working there as a live electronica artists and hip hop DJ since 2002, following a period in London where his recording career began with ambient releases on Insine. These Days is a project based on tracks made as a diary, the framework for each piece having been created in one day. No computers were used, only samplers and synthesizers for a more hands on "live" approach to recording, leading to a collection of relaxed atmospheres and beautific tones and melodies drifting loosely across a structure of lo-fi handmade hip hop style beats.

He started making music as part of a sculpture project while studying at art college in London. While he was at college he met the guys from the Insine it was then that he started to release tracks of mostly ambient music and began playing live. He has also makes music for dance performance groups, video artists and web sites. In 2003 he toured with Arovane and the Tokyo label Progressive Form, he's also recently played in Berlin with Fluxion, Andreas Tillander, and Jamie Liddel.
