ICARUS live

ARg! presents Where Is The Love? Here Is The Love at Hugo's Amazing Speaker Palace, Hackney, Friday 18th February...

Synopsis: Affably uncouth dancable mashup on 18th, with visuals.

In the way of visual projections - 16mm flickerbeams and celluloid scratchings by four quite well-known people: brittski, dc, squint and lalalalalala.

Featuring the Icarus Love Life Set. Motto: "If you're lucky" [see updated www.icarus.nu]

Plus Dark and Lovely DJ activity from:

Sticky Balls Of Rice:
Congratulations must be awarded to SBOR for winning this year's ARG! Valentine award for the most love made per minute/capita. He's a hip hop DJ and smokes a lot, but nothing gets in his way when it comes to pleasing the crowds. Motto: "Classical slap-stick rappers need Chapstick"

Die Große Ekstase [Walter Steiner]:
The glib nonbitch plays the big unglitch: a light of foot, slight of hand love brew of minimal and maxipuff to keep lips smacking and hearts thumping at around 128bpm. Motto: "They should lower the ramp".

Maximilllion 'Llove' Llovermann III:
Pure, total and sin-cere/cop[UL]ated love. The prime minister of the kingdom of luv (sic, for sic is he) bullies and guilt-trips the Argmosphere into metalove with a cheeky techno wedge. Motto: "I didn't say that".

Cool Bob Love aka Screaming Green:
Plays... rock'n'roll, but still for butt-twitchin'. Motto: "I won't be too upset if I can't."

King Asashoryu AKA 'The Scourge from Mongolia':
In order to keep his promise to maintain the 'loved up' theme, the King will be distributing his trademark mix of Mongolian folk melodies, war chants and extreme digital hell, currently so popular with Mongols around the world*.

* ARg! would like to thank the Mongolian New Music Association' for their invaluable support in helping to bring The King to our shores.
