ESSIE JAIN tour & BBC World Service session

Essie Jain has confirmed some English dates as well as a visit to Paris later this month. The shows, promoting her spellbinding debut album, We Made This Ourselves, which was released in March. Essie will be touring her intimate and quietly powerful songs with American guitarist Patrick Glynn who played on her debut record.

Meanwhile, you can hear Essie’s live session from today, May 8, on BBC World Service’s The Beat show. The first broadcast is 1530 BST, with a repeat at 1930 BST and a BBC Radio 4 broadcast at 0330 on Friday 9 May. You will be able to stream the show online for a week after the airings.
