ARVE HENRIKSEN live
Nordic Voices presented by Fiona Talkington
BBC Radio 3 Late Junction presenter Fiona Talkington is a lifelong fan and tireless champion of Norwegian music. On Tuesday 29th November she presents two of her favourite artists live in a unique double bill Arve Henriksen and Susanna And The Magical Orchestra
Arve Henriksen first made his mark in Britain when he featured in Iain Ballamy's Food. His haunting sound and limitless improvisatory ideas captured the ears of discerning listeners and his follow up visits - including last year's tour with Dhafer Youssef - have marked him as one of the most important players on the jazz scene. This performance marks the debut UK performance for Arve's trio.
