On June 21 Githead recorded a special summer-solstice four-song live One Night Stand session (Fake Corpses, Alpha, My LCA, Antiphon) at XFM's Leicester Square studios for John Kennedy's X-Posure XFM show. The show will be aired on June 29 between 11pm and 1am (UK time). XFM is available on analogue (104.9 FM in London as well as 87.7 FM in Cardiff until July 2), digital on DAB, Sky (channel 864), NTL (channel 891) and Telewest (channel 965) throughout the UK and worldwide over the internet at www.xfm.co.uk. For more reception info go here. The band unfortunately won't be able to put in a personal appearance during the session (which turned out rather nicely) as they will be playing in Paris.
However on the website of the Belgian Radio Station Studio Brussel there is a streamable/ downloadable version of a recent interview between Githead's Colin Newman and the highly respected Flemish DJ/ music journalist Luc Janssen. The page can be acessesed on the Studio Brussel Website click on the Beluister het hier! text to choose your speed/ quality. A high quality download of the show is about 80 meg (not 180 meg as reported in the Githead newsletter!)
