Ted Milton studied Bookbinding at London's Central School Of Arts & Crafts in the late 60s. But he became a puppeteer, & fifteen years later founded the psycho-funk, afro-punk, fake no-wave, pogo-jazz trio known as Blurt. At the end of the 80s, finding hmself living in Bruxelles, he began a collection of the string discarded by postmen. When a large jar was full to the brim, he was inspired to create his first book - "Pagan Strings" - the materials mostly "found". In recent years he's begun a new series, each book containing a CDR of one of his songs. Ted Milton has exhibited his work on occasion, & his books are in the collections of the Bibliotheque Nationale & The British Library.
