Latest Releases || Browse all releases || News || Artists || Links

Static Discos was established in early 2002 by musicians Fernando Corona (Murcof), Rubén A. Tamayo (Fax) and writer Ejival, in Tijuana México.

The label is a vehicle for the work of young electronic producers from México and Latin América and the aim is to publish their music in a context where the idea of establishing and maintaining an independent music imprint is constrained by the realities of third world economies.

With a modest but positive growth since their beginning, Static Discos has released the music of Fax, Murcof, Duopandamix and H. Amézquita. The future sees Static Discos working with artists from South América and developing the ever changing and dynamic music sphere where México's electronic producers play upon.
