
* What is a pre-order?
A pre-order is an order that can be placed on PostEverything.com for an item which has not yet been released and which is not yet in stock with us. Pre-order may apply to a whole release in all it's formats, or to a specific format such as: limited edition vinyl, box set, merchandising etc.
You may make the order in the normal way. The pre-order status is shown in the grey text under the title on the product page as - (Pre-Order). Please pay attention to the projected delivery time.
* What happens if I buy pre-order ?
A pre-order is added to your basket in the normal way and you can proceed to the checkout with it. If the item is part of an order containing 'In Stock' items and 'Pre-Orders' you will not receive your item until after the pre-ordered goods are in stock with us.
* How do I know if there if there is a pre-order item in my order?
Usually pre-order items will have a 'pre-order' button, rather than a 'buy' button, when you buy them. They will also be listed as 'pre-order' in your basket. We will also alert you to the pre-order status throughout the order process, and on your order receipt.
* How do I check if the pre-order date has changed?
We will update the details on the product page if the availability date changes. If a pre-order item is listed as 'in-stock' we should already have dispatched your order.
* My pre-order item hasn't arrived yet, what should I do?
Firstly, please check with the product page that the delivery date has not changed.
If the item is now marked 'in stock' please check the help pages on the subjects of delivery times, missing orders & after ordering. For further help you can contact us at via the contact form . We only respond to enquiries during office hours, so please be patient if we don't get back to you immediately.
* How do I cancel a pre-order ?
In the highly unlikely event that a pre-ordered item does not materialise with us you may cancel your order by e.mailing us via the contact form. Items ordered by credit & debit card are charged at the point of dispatch so you will not have been charged for item we have not sent you. As paypal works differently we will refund to your paypal account within 3 working days of you cancelling your order. If your order contained both 'Pre-Order' and 'In Stock' items then you will then be able to make a re-order containing only the 'In Stock' items.
