After her rapturously received appearance on Sunday 6 August, Hanne recorded an acoustic version of ' Cast Anchor ' for BBC Radio 1's One World show, which was presented by the Big Chill's Pete Lawrence. The show was beamed out last Sunday, but you can access it via the BBC website until Sunday 20 August. The track is towards the end of the show.

Two Leaf artists have been nominated for the Plug Independent Music Awards in the US. Hanne Hukkelberg is up for the 'Female Artist Of The Year' gong, while Caribou 's The Milk Of Human Kindness has been nominated for 'Electronic/Dance Album Of The Year' and 'Album Art/Packaging of the Year'. During her recent visit to London for the Leaf Is Ten events, Hanne Hukkelberg recorded a live session for Gilles Peterson's Radio 1 show.

We're proud to welcome our latest signing to the label. Hanne Hukkelberg is an extraordinary Norwegian singer and songwriter, and her debut EP will be released in May, with an album to follow in June.
