Rashamon

(Highpoint Lowlife) Releases

Lee Hume and Seb Wyatt (aka Sparta Sal) form the main components of Rashamon, a deliberately mispelled Akira Kurosawa film.

Lee has been writing electronic music since 2000, prior to that carving out a very small niche in various unheard of indie guises. Lee released the album 'An End to All Days' on the now defunct Coastline Records, which was picked up by Henry 'Shitmat' Collins. Since then, Lee and Seb have been actively
working with Henry et al in the 'Spirit of Gravity' electronic collective promoting all manner of experimental music in Brighton at various venues.

Live shows have included the Radio One 'In the City' week, they supported Max Tundra at the Freebutt, kept their head above water at one of the legendary 'Wrong Music' nights and played twice at the Placard Headphone festival in London - the second time in a collaboration with Chris 'Same Actor' Cook.
