Under the name Rope, Jay (Janek) has released two moody albums on Geist Rec (a sublabel of Alec Empire's DHR) and runs a prestigious live act working the world's stages from Paris, to Warschau, to Hong Kong. He has worked with artists as diverse as Mikis Theodorakis, Maria Farantouri, Arto Lindsay, Raz Ohara and Rechenzentrum.
Jeff (Uwe) is a prolific bandleader and songwriter (The Twang Dudes, Gloomlifters, Psyfi) and works in the United States as a session player, producer and engineer. He's worked with Greg Brown, Eliza Gylkison, Kelly Joe Phelps and Geouff Muldaur among others.
