Their debut release, 'Rainfalls' , on Bear Funk Records, received props from the likes of Chicken Lips and the Unabombers .

As well as producing Cynic's first release, Come A Little Closer, 2004 also saw 'Foolish and Sly' producing 'Traveling Man' for Eskimo records from Belgium, and also performing live at La Villette festival in Paris.

'Foolish' Felix Dickinson has been DJing around the UK and the globe since the early 90's- from long-term residencies in Brighton to gigs in Japan, California, Sweden, France, Greece and India. He has also released on Session, Discfunction, Wax Records, Ugly Music, Fools Gold and Big Bear under monikers Tacklehead, Foolish Fellas, L.H.A.S. Inc, Foolish and Shacra, and D.Bastedos.

Kyle 'Sly' Chandler has been absorbed in music all his life. As a multi-instrumentalist and session musician, he has worked with a diverse range of bands from Attica Blues to Fumi and Izit. Kyle is currently also working with Block 16 on their next album.
