Disinformation is best known for exhibiting an optokinetic installation named after William Hogarth's book "The Analysis of Beauty", for the "Stargate" and "National Grid" sound installations, for its pioneering explorations of redundant military Sound Mirror technology, for the MIT Press published "Rorschach Audio" research project, and for its series of luminous graffiti, light, sound and shadow-wall installations exhibited under the titles "Artificial
Lightning" and "The Origin of Painting".
Disinformation has exhibited and performed at The Hayward Gallery and The V&A (London), NTT ICC (Tokyo), Kiasma (Helsinki), CCCB (Barcelona), Kettle's Yard (Cambridge), The Dom (Moscow), ZKM (Karlsruhe), Montevideo (Amsterdam), Lampo (Chicago), Galerie fur Zeitgennossische Kunst (Leipzig), Fabrica (Brighton), ORF Kunstradio (Vienna), The Volksbuhne (Berlin), The Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, in churches, schools, community centres, squats, trawlers, railway tunnels, nightclubs, cocktail bars, folk clubs and a nuclear bunker, and has been subject of ten UK solo gallery exhibitions.
