(swim~) Releases

Oracle were formed by Malka Spigel , Samy Birnbach & Colin Newman in 1988 in the wake the dissolution of Minimal Compact (whom Colin had produced). The project was at it's most active between the years 1988 & 1993 when it was for the most part based in Brussels. The resultant album Tree represented only a small proportion of the material worked on it's lengthy gestation.

The band only made one (forgettable) live performance and has not existed as a practical entity since 1994. Malka & Colin now put most of their creative energies into Immersion & Swim~. Samy (as DJ Morpheus) has found his metier as a DJ & compiler of well respected compilations.
