Released in 2003, Send is Wire's first new album in 13 years.
"phenomenal.. an album of untrammeled power and pre-apocalyptic unease" 5 stars MOJO
"the reconvened Wire sound outrageously on form and up for it here" The WIRE
"bouncing up & down into the 21st century the , the Duracell-battery-powered irritants are back to beat us into submission once more" 3 stars (outstanding) The Sunday Times
"startlingly spirited stuff" Q
After an availability since the album was released in April 2003, stocks of the Wire - Metro, Chicago, 14th September 2002 (pf6l) are sadly now depleted and we are no longer able to offer this item as a free gift with our sales of Send. It will now join the list of pinkflag releases which are no longer available. However the label has plans to make some of these items available again although this will be in a different format. Sign up for the pinkflag mailing list
to be kept up to date on this and all new availabilities from pinkflag.

There is also a limited edition vinyl album available entitled PF456 Redux (pf456redux) (FORMERLY VPF6) which, in true Wire fashion, is an entirely separate item. In the sprit of a polar opposite to the traditional "DJ friendly triple vinyl" concept the vinyl version of "send" is all the material from the CD release of "send" plus all of the other tracks from "read & burn 01 & 02" edited to their barest essentials.
